hey hey everybody! Incase you missed the meeting on monday, september 22.. the FIRST official metting, here is a recap of what went on:

• New officers were elected! You can view a list of the new office holders by visitng the current officers page.
• Sign up lists for Party Planning Committee, Design Committee, and Online Committee. If you are interested in joining any of these committees (PLEASE.) and weren’t at the meeting, or if you were at the meeting and forgot how to spell your name so you didn’t sign up for one, email any of the officers or let us know the next time you see us. You might get a prize.
• A more detailed and official calendar is to follow, but our wonderful sponsor Frances Yllana has already planned three events. The first will be Wayne Geyer on October 13. In November a paper school and another guest speaker are scheduled (both will be sponsored and catered.)
• Although events will be open to the public, there will be a membership fee this semester of $10.
• Keep your eyes peeled for posters about our next meeting, and keep checking the blog for info about upcoming social events (talk of another button-making social is floating around). It is a goal this semester and to get our organization out there and make the OVC a common design-household name.
