Every day I get feeds from over 30 websites on news and info, be it design related or simply something I think is really cool. They come from all over the world and with my Newsfox plugin they work right with firefox..
You dont need a feed reader but I highly recommend these blogs/sites to check out.
1.Smashing Magazine

Smashing is probably my most trusted resource. They use bloggers from all over the world to develop some serious content which would rival any standard publication. If it deals with design, theres probably a article on smashing. They tend to focus on freelance and internet, but honestly its my #1 stop for ideas and help. Many of the rest of the folks on this list can be found on smashing.
2.Abduzeedo
Really weird name but abduzeedo is FANTASTIC. The design work they showcase on a daily/weekly/monthly basis is breathtaking. I get the daily inspirations and look on my iPhone. My bookmarks are filled with pages and pages from amazing designers or artists I found here. They also do some fantastic work with tutorials, alot of space related but really awesome..
3.CSS Tricks
Css tricks is written by Chris Coyier a pretty good designer I randomly found. His work is mostly internet work and is my first stop when it comes to a CSS issue I cant figure out.. He has some other blogs out there but this is the best. He slowed down working on this one for a while and kinda switched, but has been back lately… Still high on my must reads..
4.GoMediaZine
GoMedia is a company who creates some amazing vector packages. They also have a team of developers writing some highly useful tutorials and articles. Almost every week they let out some creative commons freebies to help promote the products they sell, so needless to say I have tons of stuff from these guys.. I have actually gotten some of the smaller packages for one vector alone.. Well worth it.
5.Packaging of the World
http://www.packagingoftheworld.com/
I cant figure out how I found this blog, but as a graphic designer its amazing. The stuff they find or get sent in is some of the best and most creative stuff you’ll ever see. You could spend hours looking through books on packaging, and twice as long on this website. Some of the stuff even has the diecut available as a download, some just as a pic.. But if you want some ideas on that coffee cup thermos, its here.
6. Spoon Graphics
http://www.blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/
This blog is by Chris Spooner a designer who writes for a lot of the other online magazines (including Smashing) and I have been reading him for a LOOOONNNNG while… He has created a side project site as well, but is still very much on top of this one..
7. I Love Typography
Want a resource obsessed with type? You got it.. This site is my favorite when it comes to type and typography.. Tons and tons of resources here and worth having on any good feed reader..
8.LogoDesignLove
http://www.logodesignlove.com/
Another site from the UK. A very in depth website that I found while reading David Airey.(actually created by him) David was/is a invaluable resource and a great conversation starter. Sometimes the blog posts themselves lead only to more content coming from the comments section.. Has a ton of tutorials on his own site and here, plus tons of work process articles. If your thinking logos, start here.
9.Vector Tuts
Vectortuts started as a part of a TON of different sites. Again, ran by a few people contributed to by many. There are actually something like 5 different tutsplus sites but I just wanted to focus on one. I would rate this as high as smashing because of the different content to be found on the whole network. Only downside is they have been really pushing premium membership(which isn’t free) instead of offering the content for free. Which in the new world makes sense but can be a downer.
10. DesignM.ag
I put designM.ag last because its insane.. Its basically a tool that searches EVERY other blog out there for content, and pops up the best ones.. They have started adding their own content but they still send me 20-30 articles a day and sometimes I cant get to them. Often I find too that I have already read the article from one of the other sites. But I will admit, its sites like this one that lead me to the others in the first place..
So check these out for sure and let me know what you think! Got one to add? Leave me your comments below and lets kickoff this new site!!

awesome, all cool sites, i like to check around on typophile.com just to hear peoples opinions on various typefaces. it can be a good resource to find the typeface you might be looking for.
Typohile is cool site no doubt, but they don’t post content like a regular blog.. It is a huge resource that I haven’t jumped on as much as I should. I like how the top logo changes for every time the page loads.. Makes it interesting..
Great post! So many animals on the front page now, haha! Great resources, too. Thanks, Dennis.
